With a long history of famous boats and esteemed sailors testing themselves against the toughest conditions on earth in this event, the Netherlands has always been a great supporter of the Volvo Ocean Race. Last edition, thousands of fans turned out for a short but unforgettable three day pit-stop in The Hague, as the boats called in for a breather on their way to the finish line in Gothenburg.
